WHO WILL BECOME THE STAR OF THE BELGIAN CUISINE 2014?
16 oktober, 2014
Culinary fireworks with Belgian top ingredients. That’s what the promotors - and Master Chefs - Pierre Wynants and Frank Follet call the game 'the Star of the Belgian Kitchen'. The competition not only focuses on the use of home-grown ingredients, it also aims at giving the Belgian gastronomy the (inter)national recognition it deserves.
The competition is organized as a "Davis Cup". Eight teams from eight Belgian provinces compete against each other in a two-day competition. Each time, the quarterfinal, semifinal and final will be decided in competitions of two against two.
This year, the finals will take place in the new culinary hall of Countryside. The assessment is done by a panel consisting of some of the best Belgian chefs.
